About "Olympia Area Chinese Association"

Olympia Area Chinese Association (OACA), originally Olympia Area Chinese Fellowship (OACF), is located in Olympia, Washington state. It is a non-profit (501(c)(3)) and non-partisan community organization that is to support the area's Chinese community in preserving Chinese cultural traditions and to promote cultural exchanges between the Chinese community and the local Olympia area community.

Objectives
• Provide for the learning of Chinese language and culture
• Provide networking opportunities for members
• Conduct celebration events for major traditional Chinese holidays
• Promote and support cultural exchanges between the Chinese culture and other cultures

OACF was founded by Mrs. Toy Kay in 1980 and renamed as OACA by the new By-Laws voted by members in Sep, 2014.
