2026 Bite L&I Fundraising Food Event

On October 21, 2026, the annual Bite L&I fundraisingfood event was held in the lobby of the Washington State Department of Labor& Industries (L&I). As in previous years, the Olympia Area ChineseAssociation (OACA) was an enthusiastic participant, organizing the ChineseTable to share delicious Chinese cuisine and support this popular communityfundraising event.

The event drew a lively crowd, with employees and communitymembers stopping by to enjoy a wide variety of foods. The Chinese Table,organized by OACA, offered an assortment of Chinese dishes that proved popularwith attendees. This year’s event raised more than $8,600 in total, settinga new fundraising record. The Chinese Table generated nearly $1,400 infood sales, once again ranking among the event’s top-performing fundraisingteams. These outstanding results reflect not only the community’s appreciationfor Chinese cuisine but also the Chinese community’s commitment to giving backand supporting charitable causes.

The success of the event would not have been possiblewithout the enthusiastic participation and generous contributions of OACAmembers, volunteers, and community friends. From preparing and donatinghomemade dishes to helping with setup, sales, and on-site service, everyoneplayed an important role. Their hard work, generosity, and teamworkdemonstrated the strong spirit of unity and community service within theChinese community.

2026年10月21日，一年一度的 Bite L&I 美食义卖活动在华盛顿州劳工与工业部（Washington State Department of Labor& Industries，简称L&I）大厅热闹举行。奥林匹亚华人协会（OACA）一如既往地积极参与，组织 Chinese Table 美食摊位，为这项深受社区欢迎的慈善活动贡献力量。

活动当天，现场人潮涌动、气氛热烈。由OACA 组织的Chinese Table 精心准备了丰富多样的中式美食，吸引了众多员工和社区朋友前来选购，受到大家的热烈欢迎。本次活动共筹得善款 8,600余美元，创历年新高。其中，Chinese Table 的美食义卖收入近 1,400美元，再次成为现场筹款表现突出的团队之一。亮眼的成绩不仅体现了大家对中华美食的喜爱，也彰显了华人社区积极参与公益、热心回馈社会的精神。

活动的成功离不开协会会员、志愿者及社区朋友们的热情参与和无私奉献。从美食的精心准备、烹饪与捐赠，到活动现场的布置、销售和服务，每一个环节都凝聚着大家的心血与努力，也展现了华人社区团结协作、互助友爱的良好风貌。
