News – Bite of L&I, OACA State Employee Combined Fund Drive

After three years of suspension, OACA members join-forced with other ethnic communities and resumed the Bite of L&I fund drive on Nov30.  Each community offered their ethnic food, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Lao’s. Alex Ge organized the event for Chinese, Qi Ye, Guorong Liu prepared the food andBing Xu, Juan Ling, Ivy Jen, and Haisheng Mou attended the booth.  The event raised $1900+ in total, of which $310 was from Chinese food which was the first that sold out.  Thanks to all the attending OACA members.  

經過三年的沉寂，州政府的OACA會員再次與其他族裔合作，在11/30舉辦了Bite of L&I 的活動. 今年的活动包含了中國，越南，以及寮國的風味食品， 组织的非常有秩序，是疫情后第一次重办 ，比预计的人要多一些。我们的食品和往年一样很受欢迎 ，第一家售罄。感谢元龙的组织，叶琪、刘国蓉 送来了食品，许滨、凌娟、IvyJen、牟海省的现场服务。此次活动总共筹集了1900多美元，我们卖了310，仅次于越南。
