OACA “Mid-Autumn Mooncake & Maple Viewing” Potluck Gathering
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, OACA partnered with the Stasch Rocky Woods Nature Education Center to host a community “Mooncake& Maple Viewing” Potluck Gathering at the picturesque Stasch Farmhouse on October 11.
After a morning rain, the weather cleared beautifully, revealing a vibrant autumn landscape with crimson maple leaves and fruit trees surrounding the farmhouse. Community members gathered to share homemade dishes and traditional mooncakes, exchange stories, and enjoy the warm festive spirit of the season. The event was filled with laughter, friendship, and the joy of reunion.
As the event drew to a close, participants exchanged holiday greetings and took group photos to capture the memorable moments. The gathering not only strengthened connections within the community but also allowed everyone to experience the warmth of home and the essence of togetherness during this cherished traditional festival.
