守护家园，OACA在行动: A Message to Our Members and Friends
Dear members and friends,
Recently, the Covid-19 outbreak has caused a medical emergency for local hospitals and clinics. OACA received a request for help from Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma last night. The OACA board is currently researching the best way to support them.
The Chinese culture of "universal world, justice for the world, salvage to help the weak" and the great love has been perfectly reflected in the successful efforts to help the Mainland of China fight against the epidemic; now that the virus has come to the nearby, we, as a local community, strive to do our best in stopping the outbreak.
The board calls on our local Chinese to donate any available personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, gowns and disinfection supplies. For the safety of patients and medical workers, hospitals require that donated supplies be unopened and tightly sealed. OACA will decide how to distribute the donation received based on the products we received and the requests we got. Please participate actively!

疫情如同波浪缓缓来袭，造成了Tacoma的Mary Bridge 儿童医院出现医护用品紧张，OACA协会昨晚收到求助信息，目前正在确认最佳的捐助方式。
我们华人社会“世界大同、天下为公、救难扶弱”的文化传统以及大爱仁心，已经在前一段帮助大陆抗疫中完美体现；现在病毒要来侵袭我们的家园，协会理事和各位朋友具有一样的心情，努力尽我们的一份爱心和责任。
协会号召我们当地华人在保证自己需要的情况下，有多少符合北美条件的口罩、手套、防护服和消毒产品可以捐出来，暂时接济一下本地的医院、诊所？由于医院要求的产品严格，我们需要的是没有开封的全新产品。所以无论多少，1盒、1包、1瓶都可，只是献出我们的一份心意！我们将根据收到的物资，联系医院和诊所，来决定如何捐助。请大家踊跃参与！
